High-bandwidth current sensing for wide-bandgap power electronics.
WHAT IS THE M-SHUNT?

Its high bandwidth and ultra-low parasitics enable accurate measurement of high di/dt events, while its robust design ensures reliable operation under demanding conditions. This sensor – called M-Shunt – is a precision current sensor for fast transient power electronics.
It integrates directly into double pulse setups, short-circuit test benches, and predictive maintenance systems.
- Ultra-low inductance → Accurate measurement at high di/dt
- High bandwidth → Captures real switching behavior
- Compact & robust design → Reliable in lab and real systems
- Superior transient performance → Outperforms shunts & magnetic sensors
Conventional Sensors Miss What Matters
Fast switching edges in modern power electronics push conventional current sensors beyond their limits – causing distortion, damped output through limited bandwidth, and inaccurate results.
The M-Shunt solves this with an low inductance design, enabling clean, high-fidelity current measurement even at extreme switching speeds.

Applications

- High-frequency SiC and GaN inverter and converter development
- Power module and semiconductor characterisation
