    At the International Exhibition and Conference for Power Electronics, Intelligent Motion, Renewable Energy and Energy Management (PCIM), Hauke Lutzen will present the publication “Pushing the Boundaries of Miniaturisation in Current Sensing: Ultra-Compact Mini-M-Shunts for faster transients“.

    Visitors are invited to meet our team in Hall 6 at Booth 419 during the exhibition to discuss the latest developments in ultra-compact current sensing solutions and explore how our Mini-M-Shunts enable improved performance in high-speed, high-efficiency power electronics applications.

  • From Theory to Practice: Semiconductor Characterisation at PCIM 2026 in Nuremberg

    A full-day tutorial on power semiconductor characterisation, split into two sessions: WBG fundamentals in the morning, switching losses in the afternoon. Hauke Lutzen will be speaking in the afternoon session alongside Christian Lottis (Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences) and Sebastian Sprunck (Fraunhofer IEE).

  • 9th Mechatronics Day in Bremen, Germany

    M-Shunt will be taking part in the 9th Bremen Mechatronics Day, hosted by the Bremen Centre for Mechatronics. This year’s event brings together representatives from research and industry to discuss the role of power electronics, reliability and testing in the energy transition.

    The programme includes contributions from the University of Bremen, HiPE-LAB, SMA Solar Technologies, ABB, ENERCON and NorthH2, covering topics ranging from high-power testing and component reliability to offshore hydrogen production and model-based monitoring. As part of this line-up, Hauke Lutzen will represent M-Shunt with a contribution on technology transfer from research into industrial application.

    The event offers a valuable opportunity for exchange between researchers, technology providers and industrial partners working on the next generation of reliable energy systems.

    At the International Conference on Integrated Power Electronics Systems (CIPS), Vladimir Polezhaev will present the publication “Design, fabrication and testing of a novel 650V / 10 mΩ GaN embedded Half-bridge-in-Package (eHiP) with optimized thermal performance and low parasitics“, while Hauke Lutzen will present “From Insight into Bandwidth to Fast-Transient Precision: Diamond-M-Shunts for Wideband Current Measurement“.

  • Switching-Loss Measurement Seminar in Kassel, Germany in Kassel

    Together with Sebastian Sprunck from Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy System Technology, Olaf Bendix from Tektronix, as well as Christian Lottis and Marco Jung from Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, Hauke Lutzen is participating in a seminar on switching-loss measurement for wide-bandgap devices taking place in Kassel.

    Representing both the IALB – Institute for Electrical Drives, Power Electronics and Devices and M-Shunt, Hauke Lutzen will share insights into sensor applications and sensor design for high-performance power electronics measurements.

    The seminar brings together experts from academia and industry to discuss advanced measurement techniques, practical challenges, and emerging solutions for wide-bandgap semiconductor technologies. Participants can look forward to an inspiring exchange and hands-on technical discussions.

  • M-Shunt Wins First Place at CAMPUSiDEEN 2025 in Bremen, Germany

    The M-Shunt project from the Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (IALB) at the University of Bremen and EI-Lab from University of Applied Sciences Kempten has been awarded first place in the “Business Concepts” category at CAMPUSiDEEN 2025. The competition, organized by “BRIDGE – Gründen aus Bremer Hochschulen”, recognizes outstanding business ideas from all universities in Bremen. The award highlights the innovative measurement technology developed by the research-based founding team and marks an important milestone on the path toward market readiness.
